When you love someone like I do,

Deep down in my bones,

Wherever you roam.

Their lives so intrinsically woven into yours,

When they hurt, you hurt

Like waves crashing, embracing the shore.

Life's complexities, we can only try to understand

But I know it's always easier

When there's someone there,

Holding your hand.
